I totally understand where you are. When Beth was released from the hospital, she didn't know who I was or that she had two children. She slept on the couch for a long time after coming home not wanting to sleep with me and not wanting to get into an unfamiliar bed. I guess she also liked the openness of the living room.
That was a little over 18 years ago. And these past 18 plus years I've been living with my new wife: same wonderful lady but totally different personality. That makes me special because very few men can have two wives without getting a divorce or breaking the law!!!
