Hello!  We're organizing an effort to re-start a ThinkFirst educational program for elementary and middle school children to educate them about injury prevention with a focus on tbi and spinal cord injury.  The program promotes, in an age-appropriate way, wearing helmets during risk-taking activity, wearing seatbelts, and using common sense.  We're looking to recruit young tbi/sci survivors from the Philadelphia and surrounding area to be part of the program.  Training is provided.  More info on the program is available at www.thinkfirst.org.  Volunteers should be comfortable with answering questions about their injury, and how it's changed their lives.   What do you think?  If anyone is interested in the area, let me know.
