Yes, I have seen this movie. It was a good movie. Very powerful. Do you find it to be very close to the struggles you experienced?

YES. I was in a coma, I was aphasic. I went for rehab @ the same rehab center [it is Burke Rehab Center in White Plains,NY and they changed the name for the movie]. I went for cognitive rehabilitation, physical rehab, and visual rehab. It also is the mental problems we both have: reading and memory problems. It also is the same when I went back to work: I was a problem with my co-workers and no compassiopn for me. A lot of people thought I was back to "normal" and they have no knowledge of head trauma defecits. They only thought it was a bump to the head. When I started to have seizures will on a call the bosses now realized that I was not the same as I used to be. I also am very sensitive to comments. I also see the world differently now. I took care of my patients with compassion and proper care not like my co-workers because I was a patient. They do not know how it feels when you are on the strecther with O2 applied and transported to a Trama Center lights and siren with the ER notified what they have and an eta to the ER.  A lot of my co-workers have never been in my shoes.

Yes and I LOVE IT.  I cry so hard everytime I see him in the scene when he's in therapy.  That movie hits it on the head pretty good about TBI.

Go to www.amazon.com and type in the title of the movie and it which will pop up with the movie available to buy. Also check out the book "Coping With Mild Traumatic Brain Injury" at the same web site. They are great things to have for TBI survivers.
