re-locating?

So currently I reside in the neighboring areas of the Nation's Capitol

Things usually seem to be all about location location, so I question on which location in this great country would have a lot/the most BI resources?

I'm considering relocating and because of the fact that I receive a healthy stipend from SSI, I find that question pressing, and relatively limitless?

I think obviously I'd prefer to be in Southern CA but I'm

    Things are a lot more expensive in CA.  Not just rent, but things like food.  Most here on SSI live with family as they would never afford it.

    You may be able to do a studio apt in a big city or rent a room (more likely) and still afford food.  The problem though is roommates, and with brain injury you are more likely to be taken advantage of.

    ...but I was thinking about like way other cities, but right now, I am very comfortable in DC and I think, well my Speech Pathologist has got to be one of the best at least in the state, east coast but I'm having thoughts of like a Boston or  Charleston SC, Chicago has what Northwestern?...I'd think that it's best to be near a medical college that kinda specializes in BI, like maybe a Duke, UVA or Johns Hopkins...?  but also like way other states like CA and CO even...not a huge fan of the frigid temps but I'd be willing to give most places at least a look-at?or like a TX, AZ...


    I think that I'm looking for the best BI research hospitals?
