I had a baby 3 weeks before this happened. I was allowed to take the baby to work with me. I just walked in from work with the baby. I wen into the basement to grab some stuff. I suddenly got the worst headache of my life and I couldn't move any part of my body except my hands. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm and a stroke which lead me to having seizures. I have survived brain surgery and am doing much better. The doctors didn't expect me to live through surgery. Once I lived through that, they told my loved ones that I would never walk or talk again. Well, I'm walking with a cane and talking almost normal!

I'm an engaged mother of 3 kids. I am finaly back to work part-time.  I am now looking at the world completely differently and am working on finding the true me again. 

I got my high school diploma through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln home study high school course. Its a program that goes through the mail but you get a high school diploma when finished. The courses are for high school, but they are college level.   After that I went to vocational school for secretarial work.  I hope that when I am alot better, I will be able to go to online college to get my degree in Business. 

Office manager

I have done tons of different types of work.  Everything from factory labor, to waitress, to office manager.  And tons of junk inbetween.  I was even the annoying person that sold vacuum cleaners door to door for awhile.  lol!  I am now the office manager and a medical biller at a local doctor's office.

Family doctor. None of the neurologists in the area that take my insurance will take new patients. And the neurologist who saw me in the hospital doesn't take my insurance and he doesn't want to refer me to anyone.   None of the physical therapists that take my insurance will see anyone on an outpatient basis with my diagnosis.
