So busy at the wrong time of year.  I set up my home shop over the last 6 weeks I think.  I needed to order a lot of specialized tools for my trade not to mention other tools I could buy at local stores.  I am glad to be working at home and so far have plenty of work.  I have 14 year experience as a violin repair technician.

Since I learned this skill as part of my rehab process it seems extra special that I have come to the point that I am my own boss now.  I went right past my 16 tbi anniversary on Dec 31 and didn't feel sad or mad like I usually do.  Instead I thought about how far I have come.

I was laid off my job the day after Thanksgiving.  Kind of a surprise because it wasn't because we didn't have enough work.  So now I am doing the same type work at home which is Violin Repair.

Hi Jean - I think your idea about adding a survivor choice in drop down is a GREAT idea! Welcome to the site. Good book that describes that experience of a "new you" after surviving tbi is "Where is the Mango Princess" by Cathy Crimmins. I'm going to pass on survivor suggestion to Stephen, and also maybe ask for a book reference page.
