definition of ABI/TBI
The following is from a comment I made. This topic is so confusing I don't like thinking about it. Others probably have the same question, though.
A ruptured aneurysm is an ABI, Acquired Brain Injury. TBI is Traumatic Brain Injury. ABI is bigger, so all TBIs are ABIs. ABI has other things like stroke and brain tumors. I have both. Double whammy! Personally, I think it should all just be called Brain Injury. Either way the same thing is damaged.
